NIE PROGRAM AND HANDS ON LEARNING PROGRAM

 FIITJEE World School, Dilsukhnagar
Dt:27.06.14
Dear Parent,

As part of our efforts to ensure the all-round growth of our children, we have decided to procure “The Hindu In School”. Designed exclusively for school children, this is an eight page color publication of the ‘The Hindu’ – not the regular news paper. The contents and the quality of this daily that has served its readers for 134 years need no introduction.

This co-curricular exercise has a multifaceted objective. The highlight of those facets is to improve
1.        Reading Skills
2.        Word Power
3.        General Knowledge
4.        Team Work
We have decided to allot one entire class every day to this exercise.

The subscription fee is three rupees a day or per issue (one issue per day). The issues of this publication come out on all days Monday through Friday (no issues on Saturday and Sunday). The number of days for which you will subscribe, and your child will receive the issues is 133 for the whole year 2014 (we will not procure the issues on vacation days and exam days). Therefore, the total number of subscriptions will be 133.  We request you to pay the amount on or before Monday, 07 July 2014 so as to enable us to move further in this direction.

We sincerely hope you concur with us on the objective, and consider this endeavor of ours worthwhile. We look forward to your cooperation to help your child better.

Sincerely,

PRINCIPAL
Note: NIE program is only for Classes VI & VII
